“Tami and Stephanie are women, not girls,â€? Adam totally missed the point.

“You remember their names?â€? Kate shouted.

“You’re always going on about political correctness, but when it comes to people you don’t like, you just drop it. Well, that’s not very PC of you.â€?

“That was nearly two months ago and you remember their names?â€?

I know I do, Joe thought. I remember a lot of things about them.

“You remember the names of waiters and cashiers.â€?

“First of all, they’re fully dressed. And secondly, I don’t remember them for two months afterwards.â€?

Although the former might have something to do with the latter.
